The homepage of our projce IPVow is now online. From January 2011 on you find here reports of all partners in their languages and in English translations as well as a summarizing report in English.

Silia homepage is online

Within the frame of module 3 (prevention and intervention in intimate partner violence against older women) of the federally funded Action Programme “Living Secure in Old Age” (Silia) a homepage was developed with important information as regards the progress of work in the modell region in Hamburg.

Mind the Gap! Improving intervention in intimate partner violence against older women

The European Commission granted a follow up project to Intimate Partner Violence against older Women (IPVoW) which will be carried out with the same partners, coordinated by Zoom – society for prospective developments. within the frame of this project we will carry out analysis of police and/or public prosecutor’s case files and develop on this basis and on the basis of results from IPVoW manuals, material for public relation and a training module in order to improve case work of law enforcement agencies and social support agencies with older women as victims of intimate partner violence.

IPVoW Im­pro­ving in­ter­ven­ti­on in in­ti­ma­te part­ner vio­lence against older women
This is an EU-funded research project which focuses on the situation of elderly fe-male victims of intimate partner violence (IPV). The seven project partners represent a range of organisation from six countries. The project runs until 2010.

 

PINGUIN
As subcontractor to the Sociological Research Institute Göttingen (SOFI) Zoom e.V. and two other organisations evaluate the implementation of the pilot project “Internal, integral support for work integration” by the Federal Employment Agency.

 

SiliA – Action programme “Security for the elderly”
Together with the German Police University Zoom e.V. coordinates and supports the action programme “Security for the elderly” (SiliA 2008 – 2010) funded / initiated by the Federal Ministry of Family, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth. We are particu-larly happy to coordinate and support the implementation of results gained in previ-ous research projects.
