Study: Work integration of social security recipients with addictions
On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Health Zoom e.V. conducts a survey of best-practice for the work integration of social security recipients with addictions.

 

Evaluation project “Go Willi”
The project “Go Willi” aims to prevent the occurrence of violence in public places. Zoom e.V. is responsible for the evaluation of the project.

Evaluation project “ALFA – Everything for all”
The project ALFA aims to develop strategies to prevent the occurrence of violence in public places. Zoom e.V. is responsible for the evaluation of the project.

ISPR – Innovative strategies for the prevention of re-offending
Since December 2007 Zoom e.V. is part of a local network in Göttingen which is headed by the municipality’s European office. The network participates in a wider project headed by the European Forum for Urban Security which aims to disseminate  innovative ideas/strategies to prevent the re-offending of people released from prison.

 

Ex­pe­ri­ence you can count on!

Em­ploy­ment Com­pact for Older Peo­ple in the Re­gion of Göttin­gen

In the competition "Regional Employment Compacts for Older People" of the National Department for Economy and Labour (BMWA) the contribution of the County of Göttingen "50+ - Experience you can count on!" was awarded. With the slogan "Experience you can count on!", Zoom e.V. will work together with 29 other organisations on the improvement of the employment situation of older people in the region until the end of September 2007.

This pro­ject dealed with the ex­pand­ing ac­tive labour mar­ket pol­i­cy which is con­sid­ered with­in the "open method of co-?or­di­na­tion" (OMC) to be an im­por­tant ap­proach to re­duce pover­ty and so­cial ex­clu­sion in the EU mem­ber states. Ac­cord­ing to this, all Na­tion­al Ac­tion Plans (NAPs) of the mem­ber states in­clude an ac­tive em­ploy­ment pol­i­cy as an in­stru­ment against so­cial ex­clu­sion.

 

PUSH

Cen­tral issue of the pro­ject PUSH (Pub­lic Sub­sidised Em­ploy­ment in Eu­rope) is the de­sign and the frame­work of pub­licly sub­sidised em­ploy­ment. PUSH is sup­port­ed from the Eu­ro­pean So­cial Fund ac­cord­ing to Ar­ti­cle 6 (in­no­va­tive mea­sures of local em­ploy­ment pol­i­cy). Pro­ject lead­er is the Lawaetz Foun­da­tion (Ham­burg), part­ner or­gan­i­sa­tions are Zoom e.V., the City of Göttin­gen, the Fed­er­al Work­ing Group for Labour (BAG Ar­beit) as well as the Dublin Em­ploy­ment Pact.
